Song Played on Shane's Birthday as we launched balloon to him: Kenny Chesney "Who'd you be Today" |
| 19 Years ago Today Nineteen years old today you'd be, Where did all the years go. All the things that we've missed since you've been gone, Mostly just watching you grow. We missed you start your high school years, We missed your senior prom, We missed you senior pictures, We missed your beautiful song. But the hardest thing we missed this year, Was watching you walk down the isle, To recieve your high school diploma, and to turn to us and smile. But my dear son you are not forgotten in any way at all, Four awards were given in your honor where I was proud to give them all. Your classmates wore angels with ribbons graduation day, You were even remembered in a speech, in a very special way. As for all of us here today we will never forget, Each and every year without you will be harder even yet, Each year you are gone, will be other things we'll miss We'll hang on to the past we had and we will never forget. Happy Birthday my Precious son, Who I love eternally Today you'd be 19 But my baby you'll always be. Wrote for my son Shane by his Mom 2006 |
